About Emmie
Welcome! While I was born in Georgia, my husband and I have lived in Jacksonville, Florida with our two children for the last 15 years. We made Christ Episcopal Church our home where I have been involved in the Healing Prayer Ministry and a part of The Center for Spirituality.
My life's journey has taught me the art of finding joy and hope in the midst of pain and suffering. My heart's desire is to offer hope, light and love when life is hard and feels dark and hopeless. My passion to help hurting people led me to further my studies and receive a Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary with a focus on spiritual direction and grief counseling.
It is my desire to help those suffering know that they are not alone. We walk through life together lifting, supporting and encouraging each other.
My Vision
I believe that every person is created in the image of God and every soul deserves a quiet space to breathe, to listen, and to discover who they are and who God created them to be. This requires time to stop, to reflect, to process and even to struggle. I provide a safe, confidential space where we can do this together.
I commit to walking with you on your spiritual journey. I will listen to your story with an open mind and heart and pray with and for you. I will hold all that you share with the strictest of confidence. It is my sacred honor and privilege to walk with you on your spiritual journey.
